- Maintain detailed documentation of control systems, including schematics, logic diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Support commissioning and startup activities for new equipment and process lines. • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to enhance automation processes.
- Analyse and optimise existing control systems to improve equipment performance, uptime, and energy efficiency.
- Develop and implement system upgrades, modifications, and expansions to meet evolving production needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis of control system failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate new equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide training and technical support to maintenance and operations personnel on control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a controls engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI design, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and process control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
