Join a pioneering engineering team driving the development of cutting-edge hydrogen and carbon capture technologies. We're looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the conceptual and mechanical design of high-temperature pressure vessels and complex machined assemblies, supporting the transition to clean energy.Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop novel technologies in hydrogen production and gas separation.
  • Create conceptual and detailed mechanical designs in line with ASME and other industry standards.
  • Conduct simulations (FEA/CFD using Ansys/COMSOL), analysis, and testing to validate new designs.
  • Collaborate across R&D, electrical, and application engineering teams.
  • Lead design authority, overseeing technical documentation, calculations, and project delivery.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to drive innovation from concept to commissioning.
About You:
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (MEng/MSc or BEng with 10+ years' experience).
  • Strong background in R&D, pressure vessel design, thermodynamics, and high-temperature systems.
  • Skilled in Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS/COMSOL, and technical report writing.
  • Experienced with hydrogen systems, multiphase flow, and safety in high-pressure environments.
  • Proven communicator and team collaborator.
