We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern is Monday-Friday.This is a Fixed term post for 9 months.(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.An opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service based within Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow for a band 7 Physiotherapist in the Respiratory Team. The post holder will be the Clinical Lead for physiotherapy input to the Scottish National Chest Wall Service based at RHC Glasgow. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the development and evaluation of physiotherapy input for this group of children and young people with chest wall deformities. We require a forward-thinking, versatile and self motivated physiotherapist with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience. You will be a team player with relevant experience and an interest in the interaction between postural control and the respiratory system. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their carers.This is a fixed term position 21.5 hours per week. On call/emergency, evening, weekend and public holiday duties will be required as part of this post.
