Your primary role will involve assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans and ensuring that students receive the necessary support to help them reach their full potential.Job Duties:
  • Supporting students with SEN in their academic and social development
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Providing one-to-one support to students as required
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring and recording student progress
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents/guardians
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Patient, empathetic, and understanding approach
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in supporting students with specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:You will be based in a school environment, working closely with students, teachers, and other staff members. This role may involve some physical activity and the need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
