- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (including English & Maths)
- Word processing/typing or relevant qualification.
- Administrative / Secretarial qualification
- Understand the need for confidentiality and data protection.
- Creating and managing databases / information / data reports
- Good understanding of medical terminology / safeguarding terminology
- Previous administrative/ secretarial experience
- Experience of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Excel, Word, Publisher
- Experience of preparing agendas and minutes
- Evidence of RNOH Trust values
- NHS Experience or Public Service experience
- Safeguarding experience
- Experience working in multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Ability to perform general administrative duties to a very high standard.
- Good keyboard skills / typing speed.
- Minute taking skills and ability to produce accurate minutes in a tight deadline.
- Ability to work with distressing or difficult material and handle sensitive situations.
- Skills in producing leaflets / posters / newsletters
- Web page editing
