- Educated to GCSE at Grade 4/C in English (or equivalent qualifications) or equivalent experience
- NVQ/RSA or OCR at level 3, or, relevant secretarial, admin and clerical experience that would equate to level 3.
- ECDL or equivalent.
- Experience of dealing with the public.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to deal with staff at all levels.
- Previous experience of working in a team.
- Medical Audio typing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Previous NHS experience /Public Sector Experience.
- Previous experience using Lorenzo and ICE results
- Customer Care Training.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Methodical person who pays attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure, prioritising workload to achieve deadlines.
- Understanding of data protection issues and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Pleasant, tactful and caring manner.
- Good team player with flexible working in line with service needs.
- Involvement in service improvement projects and developing new ways of working.
- Willingness to undertake training as required by specific post.
- Commitment to continuing personal development.
- Understanding of the 18 week pathways.
