This is a role which would really suit a healthcare/life science/med mal underwriter or broker with a science academic background, someone with the real passion for this subject.
You would be joining a long established Lloyd’s underwriting platform with a strong presence in this area already. They are looking for an
experienced London market insurance professional, already with a few years experience in insurance under their belt. Whilst underwriter level would be preferred, you could be an advanced assistant underwriter, junior underwriter or broker, but with a focus on life science / healthcare.Strong life science, clinical trials book, global remit, written both on Lloyd’s and company paper. This client would welcome those who also have a science based academic background, as well as the market exposure.Complex, interesting underwriting platform with a fantastic mentor.
