Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV 2 Dustcart Drivers for a position starting asap. This is a temporary role with a view to perm for the right candidate. We are looking for Class 2 HGV Refuse Drivers to work within a team, in and around the New Forest area (Totton, Lymington, Ringwood) collecting door to door waste.Working Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm with an hourly pay rate of £15.68 per hour, with overtime sometimes available.The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse therefore flexibility is crucial. Full training and induction will be given.Duties:
- Driving a class 2 vehicle and you will also be required to assist with the loading
- To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections.
- Heavy lifting / fast paced
- Customer facingPrevious experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.Requirements:- Class 2 driving experience is essential
- Clean Class 2 licence is preferred
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
