Job descriptionProspero Teaching is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to support schools across Portsmouth and surrounding areas on an ad hoc or flexible basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers or experienced educators looking to work across a variety of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. You’ll be joining schools with welcoming staff and supportive leadership teams, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining continuity in pupils’ learning during staff absences.We work closely with a range of Mainstream Primary Schools, as well as Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings that cater to pupils with diverse needs including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.Contract Details Location: Portsmouth and nearby areas Position: Primary Supply Teacher Type of Work: Ad hoc / short-term cover Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Contract Type: Temporary Schedule: Flexible / ad hoc Pay Rate: £120 – £150 per day Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pmExperience, Training & QualificationsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferredMinimum 1 year of experience working with childrenUp-to-date Safeguarding training (can be provided)Eligibility RequirementsRight to work in the UKEnhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply)Two professional references related to child-based rolesWhat Prospero Teaching OffersFree accredited CPD courses including Safeguarding and Behaviour ManagementAccess to our dedicated Training and Development TeamIf you’re passionate about making a difference in primary education and enjoy the flexibility of supply work, we’d love to hear from you.
