Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you an inspiring English Teacher with a passion for literature, language, and helping students unlock the power of communication?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive school in Conisbrough, DN12. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for reading and writing while supporting pupils to reach their academic potential.Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in both written and spoken communication.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment where all learners feel valued.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and strategies.
Requirements for the English Teacher role:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
