Location: Darwen, LancashireYour Role & Responsibilities
- Produce offer letters contracts of employment and process employment references.
- Manage all new starter paperwork ensuring completion accuracy and secure storage on PeopleHR.
- Keep our PeopleHR system up to date with new starters leavers and changes including annual leave entitlement and bank holiday schedules.
- Maintain corporate benefits systems (Giftbox Simply Health Death in Service) by adding and removing employees as needed.
- Respond to people related queries including holidays sickness and policy questions.
- Manage HR compliance processes (e.g. GDPR training right to work documents DBS certificates) and keep accurate audit trails.
- Support recruitment activity in collaboration with the Talent Team.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction processes working closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless start for new hires.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly payroll reports ensuring all supporting documentation is in place.
- Support and coordinate learning and development activities in partnership with the Clinical Director.
- Assist the HR Business Partner with HR projects and initiatives.
- Maintain and update HR policies in line with legislation and company standards.
- Produce reports and management information to support business needs including trialling AI reporting tools.
✓ Level 5 CIPD qualification or 1 to 2 years’ HR administration experience.
✓ Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
✓ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation.
✓ Clear and professional communication skills.
✓ Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team.
✓ Confident IT skills including the ability to interpret people data.
✓ Knowledge of GDPR and handling confidential HR information.
