Rate: £70000 - £90000 + Package (Depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of a forward-thinking company.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial aspects of design and build projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing project costs, budgets, and procurement activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining profitability and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all commercial aspects of design and build projects, from inception to completion.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Procure materials, subcontractors, and services in a cost-effective manner.
  • Oversee contract administration, including variations and claims management.
  • Provide commercial support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in design and build projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in cost management software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
