Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful Criminal Paralegal will assist in a full range of criminal defence matters, supporting solicitors and advocates in both magistrates’ and Crown Court cases.The Criminal Paralegal’s roleThe Criminal Paralegal will be involved in case preparation from police station representation through to trial. Responsibilities will include attending police stations, preparing legal documents, liaising with clients and third parties, and managing case files. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work alongside experienced criminal defence lawyers, gaining valuable exposure to complex and high-profile cases.This is a client-facing role, requiring confident communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
