They're seeking an experienced MET Technician who shares their passion for delivering industry-leading automotive crash repair services.The Role as an Experienced MET Technician We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MET Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in crash repair, ready to take on complex tasks and contribute to the centre's reputation for excellence.Duties as a MET Technician Include:
  • Performing advanced MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) work, including wheel alignment, ADAS calibrations, and stripping/rebuilding vehicle bodywork.
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting complex vehicle systems.
  • Ensuring all repairs meet the highest industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain efficient workflow and uphold quality control.
  • Mentoring junior technicians or apprentices when required.
Who Our Client is NOT Looking For: They are not seeking improver-level technicians or those new to the industry. This role is specifically for experienced MET Technicians with a proven track record in crash repair.Salary & Benefits for the Successful MET Technician:
  • Pay: £40k - £45k - negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday - Friday only - 8am - 5pm

Who Our Client is Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician in a crash repair centre, garage, or main dealership.
  • Advanced skills in diagnostics, strip/rebuild work, wheel alignment, and ADAS calibrations.
  • Formal motor trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with job card systems and basic computer work.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
