
Assistant Building Surveyor

- Assist in delivering projects, commissions, and professional building surveying services
- Undertake building surveys, site inspections, and attend project meetings
- Help prepare design specifications, schedules of work, and maintenance programmes
- Support in producing schedules of dilapidations and negotiating settlements
- Assist with contract administration and supervision of works on site
- Contribute to defect analysis and reporting
- Maintain effective communication across all stages of project delivery
- Represent the business in a professional manner, attending client meetings and networking events
- A RICS-accredited degree (minimum 2:1 classification)
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and NBS
- Organised, proactive and team-oriented approach
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
- A genuine passion for progressing a career in building surveying
- Commitment to working towards becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor
- Salary up to £33,000 per year
