We’ve got a role that lets you bring both to the table.We’re working with a brilliant secondary school in Swindon that’s on the lookout for a reliable, energetic PE cover specialist. You’ll lead PE lessons, cover across subjects when needed, and be that steady presence students know they can count on.This role is ideal for a qualified PE teacher, an ECT with strong behaviour management, or an experienced sports coach with teaching experience and the right classroom skills.The role includes:Delivering PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4Stepping in for general cover across other subjects when neededSupporting the wider teaching team and maintaining a calm, focused learning environmentLeading by example, modelling teamwork, discipline, and positivityYou’ll need:A background in PE, QTS, a sports degree, or coaching experience with young peopleStrong classroom management and flexibilityA confident, proactive approach (you won’t always be covering sport!)A passion for engaging teenagers and helping them succeed in and out of classWhat you’ll get from Protocol:Weekly pay (PAYE only – no umbrella companies)A friendly, local consultant who gets your strengths and finds roles to matchFREE CPD, including classroom management tips and Thrive trainingAccess to long-term and short-term opportunities as they ariseWhether you’re a qualified PE teacher looking for a change or a coach ready to step into the classroom—we’d love to hear from you.
