Laboratory Section ManagerAre you interested in Materials Testing? We have a great opportunity for a committed Laboratory Section Manager to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Laboratory Section Manager to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. As a member of Materials, it is key that you are able to thrive in a Team environment, as well as independently. The fundamental part of the role it to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications. All testing will be undertaken in line with a range of British, European and American standards so a good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is required.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
  • Management of day to day testing
  • Reporting of results
  • Daily testing activities
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • A good background in materials testing
  • Excellent client communication skills
  • High level of quality and experience in UKAS accredited lab testing.
