An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Law Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional practice with a supportive and collaborative culture. This role offers the chance to work across both respondent and claimant employment law matters within a friendly and forward-thinking legal team.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload, advising and representing clients on a wide range of employment law issues including:
- Contract law
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Redundancy and restructuring
- Discrimination and harassment
- Day-to-day HR advisory work
We are seeking applications from qualified solicitors with ideally 2-5 years’ PQE in employment law, although strong NQ solicitors with prior employment law paralegal experience are also encouraged to apply.
Essential skills and attributes include:
- Empathetic and client-focused approach, particularly when dealing with sensitive matters
- Strong negotiation, drafting and advisory skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, organised working style
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law legislation and practice
