  • Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering individualised education plans
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with personal care and behaviour management when needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
Education:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsExperience:Prior experience working with children with SEN is desirableKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of various special educational needs and how to support them
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions:This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students with SEN. It may require occasional lifting and assisting with physical tasks.
