You'll manage a diverse caseload covering Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings. From initial referral through to court involvement, you'll play a crucial role in assessing risk, coordinating interventions, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Managing CIN, CP, and PLO caseloads
✅ Undertaking Section 47 enquiries, parenting & risk assessments
✅ Writing court reports and working within the PLO framework
✅ Leading multi-agency care planning and review processes
✅ Building positive relationships with children and families
✅ Collaborating with professionals from police, education, health and legal services👤 Who We're Looking For
You'll be:
- A Qualified Social Worker with a degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experienced (2+ years) in Child Protection, CIN, or similar front-line roles
- Confident in conducting assessments and working within legal frameworks
- Strong in multi-agency collaboration and court work
- Committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and families
- Passionate, resilient, and able to build trust with families
