Contract Type: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our skilled team. You will play a key role in the fabrication process, producing high-quality work to engineering drawings, specifications, and deadlines. This is a hands-on position where you'll work with minimal supervision and have the opportunity to contribute to varied and challenging projects.What You'll Be DoingFabricating and welding in line with engineering drawings and client specificationsOperating a range of fabrication machinery including press brake, guillotine, and powered rollsWorking with stainless steel, carbon steel, and a variety of materials using TIG, MIG/MAG, and FCAW processesReporting progress, highlighting issues, and supporting project completion to agreed timescalesLiaising with colleagues across production, design, supply chain, and project managementSupporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant workWhat We're Looking ForEssential skills & experience:City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)Completed apprenticeship in fabrication/weldingExperience fabricating/welding pressure vessels, pipework, heavy plate, and sheet metalProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawingsKnowledge of machining allowances, tolerances, and welding symbolsStrong Health & Safety awarenessDesirable:CCNSG Passport to Safety (or equivalent)Familiarity with QA systems and welder qualifications to EN ISO 287 and/or EN ISO 9606What We OfferCompetitive pay and overtime opportunitiesVariety of projects across the UK, with potential overseas workTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive team environment with a strong focus on safety and quality
