Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of mental health services to the population of Staffordshire and Shropshire. The Hatherton Centre is a 47-bedded medium-secure facility incorporating an assessment unit, a rehabilitation unit, long-term medium secure service, Intensive Care unit, a well-equipped Living Skills Centre and a Sports Hall. The service also provides a multi-agency community service, forensic liaison scheme, out-patient facilities and court assessment and engagement schemes.The role requires working shifts over a 24 hr period including weekends and nights.Applications are invited for the above post from motivated individuals who are committed to working in a caring role, able to state clearly what they have to offer and how they would cope and respond to the needs of this challenging and demanding client group.   • Experience of working as part of a team and delivering a customer focused service.
Desirable
  • Experience of working with people with Mental Health needs and/or Learning disabilities as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of being a service user or carer
