- Take responsibility for supporting the strategic hub lead and SMT for driving business generation across sectors, key accounts, and specific pursuits within Birmingham
- Pipeline - ensure the teams in Birmingham develop an accurate and healthy sales pipeline. Presenting intelligent analysis on the pipeline, directly to the cost centre leads. Use the pipeline to challenge the level and pace of Business Generation activity in Birmingham
- Bidding - for strategic opportunities, facilitate the development of the pursuit team and approach, support/manage bid teams and contribute to the written proposal, both content and presentation - setting a high standard and coaching teams where required
- Major projects and programmes - support the Hub lead in Birmingham to identify strategic targets for Birmingham, develop strategic pursuit plans for those targets, and hold the key account teams accountable to ensure delivery of the plans
- Key clients - supporting key account plans and pursuits to drive activity and ensure priority accounts linked to Birmingham brand plan and profile raising, demonstrate progress and growth
- Sectors - identifying the growth sectors for Birmingham, and identifying key market trends, translating these into campaigns and ensuring they are effectively delivered - working locally and in conjunction with the national team as appropriate
- Brand plan - developing our pipeline of brand raising activities to ensure we maintain a strong profile with both our current and target clients - establish forums, events that we must attend to maintain and continue our brand elevation both internally and externally
- Working with the Senior Campaign Manager to ensure maximisation of client facing campaigns to drive business generation across the Advisory business, with a focus on generating a strong pipeline and ensuring Advisory services are included in strategic bids
- Support and champion national Business Generation initiatives both within your own team and nationally as appropriate
- Recognised professional qualification or equivalent experience in the required skills areas, which may be a degree or qualification in marketing, communications or business administration. Level of experience of similar and candidate aptitude is, however, more important.
- Professional services experience
- Knowledge of the UK real estate and infrastructure markets
