They are currently looking for an experienced Multi Point Gluing Operator to join their busy production department. You will be responsible for operating gluing machines effectively in a safe environment following all company procedures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate a multipoint straight-line gluer, consistently achieving quality standards and performance targets
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support team objectives
  • Communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the business
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in approach to work
  • Comply with all Health & Safety and Hygiene regulations at all times
  • Apply knowledge of continuous improvement practices, such as Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or 5S methodology
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support in a team leader capacity
  • Accurately follow work instructions, plans, job orders, and packing specifications
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operating and setting up multipoint straight-line gluers (e.g., Bobst, Jagenberg, Vega, or similar)
  • Solid technical understanding of folding, gluing, and packaging production processes
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to identify and resolve machine issues
  • Good knowledge of quality control standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency in output
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma, 5S, or continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow job orders, work plans, and specifications accurately
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills across all levels
  • Ability to lead by example, with experience guiding or supporting colleagues
  • Committed to maintaining Health & Safety and Hygiene standards in the workplace
