Oxleas are looking to fund SIX highly motivated registered nurses, to undertake the Specialist Community Practitioner (District Nursing) qualification in 2026/27 At the University of Greenwich.You are invited to apply for this 12 month full-time course that begins in January 2026. This is a fully funded, full-time course comprising of 52 weeks of study of which, 45 weeks are spent in education and clinical practice within the Trust.Main duties of the jobThe course prepares the registered nurse to lead teams delivering healthcare to people in their own home. It supports the nurse to develop the skills and knowledge required to be a team leader and manager capable of working autonomously in leading a team caring for people in the community with increasingly unpredictable, dynamic, and complex nursing needs.About usOxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Our services include community health care such as district nursing and speech and language therapy, care for people with learning disabilities and mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing and therapies.
