LOCATIONMidlands (Hybrid) KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOur client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking Independent Connections Provider (ICP), we specialise in the design and installation of high-voltage electricity connections and EV charging infrastructure for commercial and industrial clients across the UK.We’re now looking for a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of complex, high-impact projects, from design through to energisation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of ICP and EV infrastructure projects, up to 33kV.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee project finances, procurement, and ensure delivery within budget.
  • Ensure full compliance with DNO/IDNO standards, NRSWA, and HAUC regulations.
  • Conduct regular site audits, resolve non-conformances, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports (including photos) for both internal and marketing use.
  • Drive a culture of health & safety excellence across all operational activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a DNO or ICP setting.
  • Strong understanding of HV/LV electricity connections, at 11kV (33kV desirable)
  • Certificate of Competency as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management capabilities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – regular site travel is essential.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities.
Desirable qualifications (training provided where needed)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • Project Management Certification (PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent)
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
