Long-Term Teachers are recruiting on behalf of a nurturing and forward-thinking specialist school in the heart of Somerset that’s looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team.This is more than just a role - it’s an opportunity to be part of something genuinely life-changing.About The Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils aged 5 - 14 with a range of additional needs. Your role will involve working closely with class teachers, delivering tailored support both in the classroom and through hands-on, activity-based learning - indoors and out.Every day brings variety, whether you’re:
  • Assisting with personalised learning activities
  • Supportive pupils during physical education or outdoor lessons
  • Helping implement positive behaviour strategies
  • Leading small group sessions that build confidence and independence

Previous experience in a SEND setting is a bonus, but not essential - training is provided.You’ll be joining a warm and welcoming team in a school that genuinely values creativity, energy and commitment.
