Are you ready to play a crucial role in our dispatch centre? We're seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join us in supporting our dispatch team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.This role is for our Twilight shift - 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday.What will I be doing?As a Dispatcher with SMI, your duties will include:
  • Collate customer orders ready for pick-up and dispatch
  • Ensure stock is accurately stored and recorded
  • Assist the dispatch teams when needed.
  • Ensure to adopt a “clean as you go” work ethic.
  • Ensure that all instructions from Team Leader are implemented and actioned.
  • Be conscious of the need to maintain a safe and uncluttered working environment and ensure that best practices are adhered to concerning house-keeping.
  • Use due diligence and initiative to outperform set goals.
  • Co-operate with management to develop and implement a HSE strategy to achieve an excellent safety record with the aim of eliminating risks and incidents.
  • Meet set KPIs
