This role requires a mix of technical publication authoring, compliance checking, and collaboration with engineering and customer stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of aircraft maintenance and component maintenance manuals.🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Author, edit, and maintain technical publications (AMM, CMM, EMM, IPC).
- Review and update publications in response to discrepancy reports (MoD F765).
- Apply ASD S1000D and Simplified Technical English standards.
- Research source data to ensure technical accuracy of documentation.
- Ensure all updates meet First Time Quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Participate in internal and customer reviews.
- Support graphic and authoring requirements as needed.
- Strong rotary wing technical publication authoring experience (CH-47 Chinook preferred).
- Proficiency in ASD S1000D and/or AVP70.
- Experience with Simplified Technical English.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience with MoD Form 765 processes desirable.
- Previous aviation maintenance or support engineering knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver First Time Quality.
- Effective communicator, able to work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Graphic creation experience desirable but not essential.
