- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ZILO’s wealth management proposition—aligned to client goals, market standards, and ZILO’s platform architecture.
- Champion the end-client and adviser experience, ensuring functional design supports real-world workflows in the wealth domain (e.g. discretionary management, investment advice, portfolio construction, reporting).
- Identify commercial opportunities and evolving regulatory or market trends that influence platform development.
- Own and manage Product priorities in the SDLC from requirements gathering, backlog prioritisation, solution design, and delivery planning
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software is delivered on time.
- Translate complex business requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria with clear technical understanding.
- Serve as the in-house subject matter expert for the wealth management space, particularly around adviser workflows, client lifecycle, investment products, custody, and platforms.
- Ensure proposition design reflects key industry needs such as compliant client onboarding (KYC/AML), portfolio management, performance and fee reporting, and adviser oversight.
- Lead benchmarking against incumbent platforms and identify opportunities to differentiate.
- Act as the day-to-day product lead for a major wealth management client—managing working groups, capturing feedback, and aligning roadmap delivery to business milestones.
- Work closely with internal leadership, engineering, and operations to communicate goals, track progress, and resolve delivery risks.
- 5+ years experience in product management within financial services, ideally with a platform, fintech, or SaaS provider focused on wealth or investment management.
- Proven experience owning enterprise-grade software development lifecycles from ideation to go-live and beyond.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management operations and providers, including discretionary/DFM models, platform structures, and adviser-client interactions.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments including MiFID II, CASS, and cross-border distribution models.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear requirements, prioritise trade-offs, and manage cross-functional teams in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- Confident engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders across business, engineering, and client organisations.
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional delivery (e.g. UK, Channel Islands, Ireland, Luxembourg).
- Knowledge of investment products (funds, ETFs, MMFs, SMAs), tax wrappers, and fee models.
- Exposure to CRM, data models, APIs, and digital onboarding platforms.
- Analytical mindset, natural collaborator, and comfortable working in a scale-up environment.
