This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is committed to supporting the smooth operation of a school setting.About the Role:As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is well-maintained, secure, and ready to support daily teaching and learning activities. You will work closely with the site team and school leadership to carry out essential maintenance and support tasks.About the School:This is a thriving school located in Tonbridge.   • Carrying out day-to-day site maintenance and basic repairs
  • Supporting school functions, including setting up rooms and moving equipment
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the site
  • Managing site security and monitoring access when needed
  • Liaising with contractors and external providers
  • Performing manual handling tasks as necessary
Requirements for Facilities Assistant:
  • Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Previous experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role (school experience desirable)
  • Good communication, organisation, and practical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts during term time
