Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
Royston - with some travel to three other sites
Salary £35,000 - £45,000 Plus BenefitsWould you like to work with an organisation renowned for its stellar reputation and a long history of success?Could you see yourself supporting Health, Safety, and Environment matters at their key site in Royston with some travel to three other sites?We're delighted to be working with one of the leading providers of wood packaging solutions, to secure a new Health, Safety and Environment Advisor.The organisation has an excellent reputation in the industry, with a long history of successful operations in the UK.Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
  • Ensuring the sites are compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment
  • Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators
  • Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with heavy industrial, manufacturing, FMCG or related industry background
  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders
  • A strong technical knowledge across relevant Health, Safety and Environment
