We're hiring on behalf of a cutting-edge tech-driven client in the connectivity sector who is seeking a seasoned Widowns expert with a knoweldge of Linux. Are you an experienced Senior Systems Administrator looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled professional to take ownership of their core infrastructure and play a key role in maintaining and improving business-critical systems.
What you'll be doing:
  • Managing and supporting Windows Server environments (AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange/365).
  • Administering and maintaining Linux systems across production and test environments.
  • Overseeing networking infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routing, VPNs, VLANs).
  • Implementing and monitoring security best practices across systems and networks.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across multi-platform environments.
  • Working closely with project teams to deliver upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Producing and maintaining technical documentation for systems and processes.
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer at senior level.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
  • Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).
  • Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS a plus).
  • Familiarity with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
