- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols
- Conduct regular quality checks on products at various stages of production
- Perform thorough testing of materials, components, and finished products
- Document test results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities
- Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from established standards
- Collaborate with production team members to resolve quality-related problems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality control
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality management documentation
- Help organise and file quality-related records and reports
- Support the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Contribute to the preparation of quality audit materials and reports
- Assist in tracking and analysing quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Help coordinate quality-related training sessions for production staff
- Participate in quality management system reviews and updates
- Assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support the production team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules
- Help track inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for material replenishment
- Contribute to the preparation of production reports and performance analyses
- Assist in monitoring production costs and identifying areas for potential savings
- Help maintain accurate records of production activities, including time tracking and resource allocation
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process improvements
- Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with quality control software and tools is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with various stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- HACCP (Desirable)
- Food safety & Hygiene level 3 (Desirable)
