HGV Auto Electrician

- OTE of c. £40,000.
- 45 hours per week.
- Overtime available.
- Our client is seeking applications from experienced Auto Electricians.

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on HGVs
- Install, maintain, and repair vehicle wiring systems and electrical components
- Work on lighting systems, indicators, and electrical braking systems
- Service and repair starters, alternators, and battery systems
- Diagnose and fix faults with ECU systems
- Install and configure telematics, tracking devices, and cameras
- Maintain and repair air conditioning electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and vehicle standards
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
- Prepare vehicles for MOT by checking and repairing electrical faults
- Work from wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent (NVQ/City & Guilds).
- A “can do” attitude and the ability to overcome problems.
- Significant experience installing electrical items to vehicles.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic salary c. £35,802.
- OTE of c. £40,000.
