- Support service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment/recovery journey.
- Research, design, and prepare engaging subject material for effective groups/pods.
- Participate in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator(s) after group sessions.
- Take the lead on graduation events for service users who have successfully completed the programme.
- Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary based on their valuable input.
- Tailor specific workshops around the unique needs of the individual, such as: sleep disorders, relationships, anger management etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
- Clear understanding of the need for and the ability to deliver quality services.
- Good organisational skills and confidence to work independently or as part of a dynamic team.
- Experience/Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and Psychosocial Interventions (PSI).
- Ability to understand the specific needs of groups.
- Understanding of evidence-based interventions in a group setting including those around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential).
