Make a real difference in a dynamic Children & Families service.
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will:
✅ Manage a diverse caseload
✅ Complete detailed assessments of need and risk
✅ Develop and review multi-agency care plans
✅ Deliver effective interventions in partnership with other agencies
✅ Support families to achieve lasting, positive outcomes
✅ Attend court and manage Child Protection and CIN cases
Working pattern: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. Duty days require office attendance.👤 What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
- Registered with Social Work England
- A Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
- Experienced (3+ years) in Child Protection, CIN, or similar areas
- Skilled in court work and multi-agency collaboration
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding legislation and best practice
- A strong communicator, passionate about improving children's lives
- Assess children's needs, identifying risk and protection requirements
- Develop, coordinate, and review multi-agency support plans
- Identify gaps in service and contribute to service development
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records (ICS)
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings
- Support and mentor less experienced social work staff
