Our client a leading contractor specialising in healthcare provide new build and refurbishment projects across the UK including medical spaces & mobile theatres to live clinical environments.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established site team on a £30m new healthcare extension in Wimbledon. The role involves budget oversight, strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, collaborating closely with architects, contractors and healthcare professionals as well as proactively addressing on-site challenges to ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The position also requires an existing understanding of Asta planning software as you will be expected to assist with progress monitoring, reporting, timelines, and variations.What We're Looking ForExperience:
  • A strong history of operating as a Project Manager on new build / refurbishment projects in the healthcare sector is essential, preferably in the last 5 years.
  • Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position on projects in excess of £10m
  • Proven experience in the utilisation of Asta Powerproject Planning software

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform safety audits and inspections
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Allocate duties and responsibilities across the team to optimise efficiency and workflow
  • Create comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and maintain financial oversight
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the established quality standards and specifications
  • Execute quality management procedures, carrying out consistent inspections and assessments
