Develops operational and strategic plans for all manufacturing activities for the value stream to meet business targets, milestones and Key Performance Indictors (KPIs) Leads the supply week inputs for the Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SIOP) process Prioritises production schedules based on product introduction, available capacity, equipment efficiency and material supply Executes workforce planning requirements to ensure the products are manufactured and delivered in accordance with the master production schedule Co-ordinates activities relating to the management of infrastructure and day to day running of the value stream Plans, monitors and adheres to budgets, controlling capital expenditures and direct/indirect labour costs Supports the management of non-development programmes, NPI transitions and special projects Applies, maintains and improves lean manufacturing principles Takes a leading role in the preparation and completion of internal, customer and regulatory audits Ensures Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards are monitored and maintained Academic studies to BSc/HNC/ HND level. or equivalent experience Proven experience in manufacturing or related roles Demonstratable understanding of manufacturing/engineering priciples Understanding of aerospace and defence regulations preserred Experienced user of MRP/ERP systems Experience in Project Management and/or Aerospace operations Ability to build, & lead but also to operate as part of high performing teams
