Warehouse Operative (Nights)Location: Stockport (MUST DRIVE)Shift: Nights (22:00-06:00, Sunday to Thursday)Training Shift: Rotating Days (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday)Salary: £13.18per hour during training, £14.61 per hour once on nights.We are currently recruiting a full time permanent Nights Band Saw/Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client in the Poynton area. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to upskill and join a long standing team and company that offers great benefits.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate band saw equipment efficiently and safely (Full training will be provided)
  • Handle materials and ensure precise cuts according to specifications
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine checks to ensure optimal operation
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets are met
Requirements:
  • Experience operating a band saw (preferred)
  • Experience operating an overhead gantry crane (preferred)
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic knowledge of measurements
  • Manual labour experience (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
