
Consultant Radiologist with a GI/HPB radiology interest

- Full GMC registration
- Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register
- CCT expected within 6 months of interview date
- Completed radiology training program.
- Evidence of technical skills as described in the job description
- Documented evidence of experience in performing and reporting GI and HPB studies
- Specific training in patient safety and/or human factors
- Documented sub-speciality non vascular interventional competencies and experience
- Specific training in communication skills
- Ability to travel between City Hospital Campus and Queen's Medical Centre campus
- Ability to return immediately to NUH to provide on-call duties
- Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit. Able to teach and support junior staff effectively.
- Able to teach and support junior staff effectively.
- Track record in radiology research preferably with original publications
- Able to work flexibly in a changing health service
- Able to use the Trust's IT support systems
- Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, their families and other health Professionals.
- Able to develop, present and implement coherent ideas for service development/delivery.
- Able to delegate appropriately.
- Able to work within a team.
- Experience of change management
- Higher management degree or qualification or training
- Able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's "We listen we care" behavioural standards
