- Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
You'll be working as part of a friendly and professional aftersales team, carrying out MOT tests alongside general repair and maintenance work as required.Key Responsibilities as a MOT Tester:
- Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Accurately record all work and findings on job cards and in company systems
- Advise on and complete any necessary repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain high workshop standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Keep up to date with DVSA guidelines and MOT testing procedures
- Support colleagues when required and contribute to the overall success of the service department
- Valid MOT Testing licence (Class 4) is essential
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Full UK driving licence
