- Strategically execute and optimize complex media campaigns, identifying incremental revenue opportunities and developing solutions for market trends.
- Act as the off-site expert for assigned pods, leading strategy and partnering with cross-functional teams for effective media solutions.
- Lead vendor meetings, manage escalations, and hold partners accountable. Vet new vendors, participate in negotiations, and prioritize product enhancements.
- Execute cross-platform campaigns:
- Collaborate on paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Directly manage and optimize Display, Video, and YouTube campaigns across various DSPs.
- Activate Email marketing campaigns with marketing and creative teams.
- An Off-Site Expert & Innovator: Proficient in all distribution platforms, billing models, and reporting, with deep expertise in at least one area. Proactively identify process gaps and develop solutions.
- A Strategic Problem-Solver & Influencer: Troubleshoot complex issues with minimal support and influence vendors, junior team members, and other GPS teams.
- A Leader in Strategy: Exhibit strategic insight into sales goals, shape media buying strategies, and lead strategy conversations with internal and external partners.
- A Mentor & Collaborator: Build strong relationships, assist in developing junior team members, and help manage team documentation and training curriculums.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-5+ years of hands-on experience in paid media buying, with a proven track record of leading complex campaigns at an advertising agency, publisher, or media company.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in executing and optimizing high-value paid media campaigns across social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), display/programmatic (DSPs), and video (YouTube) platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of the paid media auction landscape, with experience shaping buying strategies and participating in vendor negotiations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and market trends into actionable, strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted expert for cross-functional teams.
