Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of all dishes.
Ensure consistency and quality of food in line with gastro pub standards.
Assist in developing new menus and daily specials using fresh, local ingredients.
Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to maintain a positive, productive environment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen (HACCP, food safety regulations).
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage waste to control food costs.
Step in to lead the kitchen during Head Chef's absence.
Requirements:Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy gastropub or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of modern British/European pub cuisine.
Passion for high-quality, seasonal ingredients and creative cooking.
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a kitchen team under pressure.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
