- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (Regulated Qualifications Framework) or equivalent, plus additional knowledge and experience of care practices and procedures to diploma level.

- Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (Regulated Qualifications Framework) or equivalent
- The ability to demonstrate a commitment to working in partnership with adults, carers, professionals and voluntary agencies, to provide a comprehensive service which meets the needs of the adults in line with current legislation and directorate, local authority & Trust policies
- Experience of working in a team, incorporating good interpersonal relationships and the ability to actively contribute to the implementation, development and review of an individual's needs
- Experience of working within the specialist area
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (Regulated Qualifications Framework) or equivalent, plus additional knowledge and experience of care practices and procedures to diploma level.
