- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Oversee the billing function and ensure accuracy at all times
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts to minimise bad debt.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and provide insights to the finance team.
- Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes for credit control and collections.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting and finance department.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management and be capable leading a small team
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competitive salary in the range of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum.
