- Develop, maintain, and update the project programme (Schedule) in accordance with commercial contract requirements (i.e. NEC/FIDIC), ensuring integration of all project activities and alignment with project goals.
- Work closely with the project stakeholders to understand project objectives, scope, and deliverables, translating these into detailed plans and schedules.
- Proactively identify and report on project delays, offering solutions and adjustments to Project stakeholders to mitigate programme impact.
- Implement and manage the planning, monitoring, and control processes stipulated by the commercial contract, ensuring timely communication and reporting progress, risks, and changes leading to revised programme submission.
- Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to facilitate the early warning process, identify potential risks and changes, and contribute to developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of revised programs, forecasts, and revisions, supporting the management of compensation events and contract modifications.
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with the project team and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to project execution, delivery, and programme updates.
- Utilise Microsoft Project/Primavera P6 tools and techniques for planning and progress monitoring, such as critical path analysis and earned value management, to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses on project progress, performance, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting potential issues and recommending solutions.
- Collaborating closely with client design leads to assimilate and analyse progress data, ensuring timely communication of insights to the project management team.
- Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with project teams and clients, ensuring open lines of communication and client satisfaction.
- Ensure that senior management understands all issues within the programme and advice appropriate planning.
