This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, fostering collaboration across business areas, and leveraging deep insight into the factors that influence resource optimisation.With a strong focus on delivering a seamless recruitment experience, the role supports both immediate delivery needs and long-term growth ambitions — enabling the business to attract, deploy, and retain the right talent at the right time.Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Resource Planning
Develop and execute resource optimisation strategies that support business priorities and future growth. * Recruitment LeadershipOversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely, high-quality hiring aligned with organisational needs and regulatory standards. * Stakeholder EngagementPartner with senior leaders, HR business partners, and operational teams to understand resourcing requirements and deliver tailored solutions. * Governance & ComplianceEnsure all recruitment and resource planning activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining audit readiness and robust risk controls. * Data & InsightLeverage workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment and resource utilisation. * Process ImprovementChampion enhancements across recruitment and resource planning processes, incorporating technology and automation where appropriate. * Team LeadershipLead and develop a team of resource managers, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging continuous learning and development.Key qualities we’re looking for in the successful candidate:
