ParkingThis is an established construction recruitment agency with an excellent reputation and loyal clients. Based in the vibrant centre of Leeds, they are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious branch manager who is able to lead, motivate and progress the team.It's a medium-sized team with scope to add headcount, and the existing members are looking for real leadership, not someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. They generate over £1m per annum in gp and cover a wide geographical area, so you will need to be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the team, clients and branch.You'll be the heartbeat of the Leeds Trades & Labour branch-leading the team, growing the business, and making a real impact every day. This is a hands-on role where your leadership, commercial savvy, and passion for people will shine. You will be expected to:
  • Strengthen relationships with current clients, reconnect with lapsed ones, and bring new accounts on board
  • Deliver a service that clients genuinely value and trust
  • Take the lead on marketing campaigns, tenders, and preferred supplier lists
  • Hire great people, help them grow, and keep them engaged
  • Handle any tricky situations with professionalism and care
  • Keep the team focused with clear goals and productive meetings
  • Make sure contracts, terms, and legal requirements are all in order
  • Work closely with our BDMs to spot new opportunities and turn them into wins
  • Own your branch's P&L and drive it forward with confidence
  • Boost sales and explore new ways to grow revenue
  • Keep budgets, forecasts, and spending on track
  • Lead from the front-your personal contribution will set the tone
  • Motivate and support your team to do their best work every day
  • Coach, mentor, and guide through regular 1:1s and appraisals
  • Stay on top of audits, payroll accuracy, and credit control
  • Ensure smooth client delivery using our Proven Process
About You
  • An experienced recruiter with a strong track record running a temp desk
  • You understand the numbers and know how to manage finances effectively
  • A natural leader who enjoys helping others grow and succeed
  • Confident in building client relationships and expanding accounts
  • A full UK driving licence
