Veritas Education is proud to be working on behalf of a small SEN provision in North Tyneside, supporting students aged 10-19 with a range of complex needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and who can offer calm, compassionate and consistent support in and out of the classroom. Experience in SEN or SEMH settings is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.This is a highly rewarding opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive team making a real impact in the lives of young people.What we're looking for: * Experience in SEN/SEMH settings (desirable)
  • A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
  • Good communication and behaviour support skills
